KJFK John F. Kennedy International ATC simulator

Work Kennedy Tower 119.1 and Ground 121.9 at John F. Kennedy International (KJFK), New York, New York. The layout is digitized from the FAA airport diagram; airline traffic taxis, pushes, takes off and lands while AI pilots read back your clearances by voice.

Layout notes

John F. Kennedy International (KJFK), Class B, layout from the FAA airport diagram. Four runways: 13R/31L (14,511 ft, the long one on the south side of the terminals) and 13L/31R (north side) are parallel; 4L/22R crosses both of them east of the terminals; 4R/22L lies further east. The terminals (T1, T4, T5, T7, T8) are inside the inner taxiway A ring, with taxiway B as the outer ring between A and the runways. Flows: 31 ops land 31R and depart 31L (departures hold at KE); 13 ops land 13L and depart 13R (full length from PF via taxiway P west of the terminals); 22 ops land 22L and depart 22R (holding at A7); 4 ops land 4R and depart 4L (holding at A11). Connectors: MD, MC, MB, MA, KD, KE from B onto 13R/31L; PA, PB, PC, PF from P onto 13R/31L; C1–C5 from B onto 13L/31R; A11, A10, A8, A7 from B onto 4L/22R. Taxiway Y runs between 4L/22R and 4R/22L with connectors Z1–Z4 onto 4R/22L; arrivals on 4R/22L exit onto Y and cross 4L/22R at H, J or N (crossing points H4E/H4W etc. — say "cross runway 22R at Hotel"). YB joins the north end of Y to 31R. Kennedy Tower 119.1, Kennedy Ground 121.9, Clearance 135.05, New York Departure 135.9. Busy international hub: heavies everywhere — watch wake turbulence and give clear crossing instructions.
